They had 48 hours to make a short film and they did it!
Alex Guillemain, Julien Gantié and Fabien Lacroix are highly talented and proved it with their short film "Marginaux". These three friends, all from the French Riviera, won a prize for the best short film produced in 48 hours during the "40 hour Film project" in Seattle.
"Marginaux" seduced the jury among 130 others projects from all over the world!
A short film of 7 minutes which had to be written, turned and edited in less than 48 hours! The short movie team had to respect three things in the storyline: the presence of an envelope, a name and an imposed sentence. A real challenge raised by Alex, Julien and Fabien.
"Marginaux" tell the story of a stolen guitar and four main characters. The short film has been shot on the French Riviera between Cagnes-sur-Mer and Nice.
In addition to this prize for the best short film, the short film "Marginaux" also won the prize for best actor. "Marginaux" will have the privilege of being presented at the "Short Film Corner" for the upcoming Cannes Film Festival.
