In 1950, Pierre Gassmann opened PICTORIAL SERVICE in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Capa, Chim, William Klein, Willy Ronis, Robert Doisneau, Edouard Boubat were customers of the lab. They affectionately called the lab PICTO, its name to this day.

Our Photographer, Laurent ouzilou
In 2014, Laurent became a French expatriate in the United States. Pharmacist by vocation, and photographer by passion, he sold his Parisian pharmacy and answered a call for an US's adventure, alongside with his wife who was relocated by a Pharma company. Camera and phone in hand, always passionate to capture the beauty in simple sights, Laurent’s new agenda opens the waters of creativity.
Fan of Robert Doisneau and Cartier Bresson, his work includes numerous of black and white iconic Parisian landmarks and landscapes, as well as legendary American pictures from his new life’s playground.
